Position: Project Director (DR Congo)
Position Description:
Provides management oversight for USAID-funded SGBV program in eastern Democratic Republic of Congo. Key responsibilities include: Primary coordinator of all activities; Responsible for all aspects of program implementation; Acts as the major liaison with USAID; Supervises all other program personnel, etc.
Minimum Requirements:
BS/BA and 9-11 years relevant experience with international development programs and includes 3-5 years of supervisory experience; MS/MA and 7-9 years relevant experience; or PhD/MD or equivalent degree and 5-7 years relevant experience. Fluency in French, with at least 5 years of project management experience in a developing country. Experience in Africa is preferred, and experience managing social services projects in a post-conflict or emergency context is preferred. * Offer is contingent upon awarded proposal.
